Bao JIan Mi is one of the earliest Chinese slimming tea made in China, and available in USA. For about 20 years, it's hard to get it outside Chinatowns though. It's used most by Chinese, but, demand of the slimming tea has been increasing, due to more and more Chinatown visitors trying out the tea. In a typical store in Chinatown, one would see that visitors purchase the tea in counts of dozens, but not in boxes. When asked why buying so many, the answer were almost the same, oh, my friends ask me to get some for them.
What does "bao jian mi" (or baojianmi) mean? In Chinese, "bao" means "keep", "jianmi" means "fit and beauty".
